It is like when he started pushing smart weapons. As a techno-weenie with an interest in the military, it immediately captured my imagination. I could see where "if you can see it, you can kill it" with man portable weapons was going to change the standoff with the Soviets in a way they weren't going to like. Because their lead in tanks and helicopters was about to be eliminated. And that changed the whole game. What a laugh. There is no debate about what killed the Soviet Union -- Star Wars. There is nothing more to say. The only people who don't acknowledge this today are the extreme Left who refuse to see the truth.
