It is interesting how you so easily inflate the numbers for a "three trillion dollar war" and at the same time you cannot see the REAL deficit in SS.

Back at ya.

Social Security needs a slight 'fix', like Reagan did, to get to the prime earning years for the echo boomers. And when McCain gives amnesty to all the illegals it will be a boon for SS. At some point the payments will actually go down again.

On the other hand the war costs, present and future, are entirely being financed by debt, not a dedicated tax. So instead of earning interest they are incurring interest. A bad investment all around... looks like the Iraqi's are kicking us out. They pretty much hate us.

Lets see, which is more important, keeping our seniors from being homeless or occupying/policing some Mideast country that hates the US?

It's only 'myth' to the cynical 'hate America' crowd.

It is only myth to those who actually comprehend what is going on with SS. Apparently, you're not one of them.

Why is it that when the right identifies a problem it is only they who see it? Did you ever begin to wonder whether the right needs glasses? I think so.
