You've really got to get over this, evil oil companies rule the world BS......... I think the higher gas prices are GREAT. They don't really put a crimp in my lifestyle, but they are FINALLY waking this Country up to the need to end its dependence on OIL. It may not put a crimp in your lifestyle, I don't think a poor family would say the same. They're the ones hurt at the pump first and the most. In this case however, I happen to agree with you to a certain extent. High oil prices have created incentive for businesses to invest in alternate energies, that's the way a free market works.
