that project should be a non-starter imo. there are many mines and very few thriving fisheries left in this world, but when money's involved, logic seldom prevails. having said that, i must admit i try not to dwell on all the destructive ramifications of mining - environmental/social/cultural - so as not to deal with my own hypocrisy. sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. didn't someone say that confession was good for the soul? :(
