Even if you are right you are wrong because its all about rumor, innuendo, hyper press. Look at Lehman--there is a problem but most analysts dont see a problem. With Lehman sinking the problem of their survival occurs anyway.

It doesn't matter. There is an unknown quantity when it comes to FRE and FNM. In fact, there are too many unknowns out there.

Unemployment is still around 5.5%.

Many people don't believe that number any more. Besides, there is an almost total loss of faith in the Bush gov't. People feel like they are wandering in the dark even if its not true. Psychology has a great impact on how people feel.
