Markets are rallying big time. Bush apparently has something about FRE and FNM. Actually, it was Bernanke stepping in.....not Bush. Bush was on a bike ride and couldn't be bothered. My apologies.

Bush between rock and hard place. Rt wing hates fannie and freddie because of perceived democratic party bias but also hate the conept of outright govt ownership. Truth be told fannie and freddie fucked up. Their stockholders pay the price. Govt takes over f&f and renames them. American people share in profits a few years down the road. Taxpayers vs Investors. Is anything public on what bush said? Now lets get oil busted this weekend. Open up the reserves if you have to. Something public and grand would be nice.
