We are not really bearish... at least not by nature... (g). In fact my last S&P trade too place several days ago, when I tried an entry on the long side. Got quickly stopped out, and that was it. Old rule of thumb - in a bear market surprises tend to take place to the downside. And it surely is a bear market... there is simply no better name for it. What are YOUR cycles telling you?

Hey Hawk .. I frankly don't like being bearish .. I actually try to determine the Trend and Predict if it's time to Continue with Trend or it's hit a Pivot Point. I just look a little longer term .. so when everyone was Strumming the Harps to the Launch of the iii of 3 and The Big 5 Up .. I didn't believe it at all .. so I was Vocal about what I thought. If you think back .. I showed up at the Jan bottom and .. I was all over the March Bottom with a ton of posts. Even posting my Charts 1 Year Birthday 1 day .. 2 Days in advance. Just so you realize .. I'm a Bear today .. but I'm not anything resembling a Perma BEAR. Here's the Dated Post with chart to Sir Bob. Message 24414931 I knew/thought it was an important date .. and even pointed out the ED formation to MC and Freep which MC took and Ran with and I got a Freep Reaming at the same time.. [of course I called it an LD because of ignorance ;)] Message 24407890 I just wasn't sure it would be a lasting bottom like some others I saw posting about the Launch to tha Moon Alice.. Yes I still have the 18th on this chart and the Crossover Date didn't change a bit. As to the Direction today .. I'm still not sure.
