Jimmy Rogers comments - some times is better to keep your mouth shut and this is the case of Jimmy Rogers.

I was for a long time an admirer but now I see that he is utterly irresponsible and his greed overshadows everything else so he is no different than all other WS thieves and swindlers.

It seems that he is a bitter man and desire to bring every one down after loosing a bundle with REFCO

My comments relate to his statement that the US Government should let the GSE go belly up. Well if they where a small regional bank I would agree. Unfortunate the fact is that the debentures issued by the GSE are in almost every ones pension fund, commercial bank equity and other ways of savings for the rainy day and not only in the US, but all over the world.

His wish could trigger a financial chain reaction which will almost not leave one financial institution around the world unhurt, as it has to do with counterparties of the commercial banks and other financial institutions which will bring a world wide run on the banks and a badly collapse of the modern financial system resulting in mayhem that I can not even foresee and total distrust in any financial institution world wide – which in turn will bring the world to a worse situation than the depression of the 1930thies giving rise to very mean and cruel and much more destructive totalitarian regimes than those of the 1930 with much more destructive hardware to kill the world population.

In a nutshell even if you are perfectly right - also think of the consequences of your wishes in today's financial world - and sometimes is better to keep your mouth shut

As to expected bottom - I trust the moon <GGG> stardate.org
