To think things can be changed over night by electing a candidate of choice is feable in scope and breath;can't happen.
The Presidential candidate,as you stated, can not accomplish much alone. Without the support of both parties in both Houses few details will ever be worked out much less a painted road to economic prosperity.

Voters are dismayed and have become distant and uninterested. Many feel the system is flawed based on a pre-conceived perception in the lack of integrity of candidates.

Interest groups are swayed by short term economic gains with only nearsighted vision in the future but heavily influenced by the almighy buck. The NewYorker Magazine's front page depicting one candidate's slanted image of a minority group is an example of how the system is flawed such manner. I have never seen such explict distaste for a Primary Party's candidacy in any prior Presidential election. The greed and ignorance abounds from both Parties and the failure of ethical and moral considerations in presenting a fair and balance examination of the real issues and hand leaves us all in a vacuum.

It is truly pathetic how the older we get as a nation the less we understand about ourselves.

Solutions emerge, imo, from necessity not foresight;God forbid we ever use our intellect upfront. Necessity is the Mother of invention. It is too bad we can seldom think outside the box and the few that do are disdained and held in contempt.

Voting is a priviledge that many who came before me and those who still today give their lives for. Until my last breath,I will always exercise my consitutional right to vote. Alone I can only do my part. Together,we the People must do our part.

Yes,I am discouraged. Our Founding Fathers today would not recognize the country we have inherited. They would have much to say and do,far more than what is currently said and done.
