The issue of honesty and integrity on wall st and in govt is interesting tho....I think the issue of fiat money provides us an example of how all of our knowledge is integrated, and when we place something dishonest into our system, it causes us to spread the dishonesty to other areas, infecting large areas of activity and ultimately significantly impairing our ability to function. If we had a gold standard, there would be no need to lie about inflation or investment allocation, or bail out bubble after bubble... ..so honesty and integrity are virtues because it keeps us on a productive, life-sustaining path.. Robin
