The economy is in the tank and nobody here comments.

Incredible policy errors have been made ....not all where a result of president bush.

However ,in furthering his "guns and butter" promises ,he has ,with knowledge aforethought, lead america into an economic hole the likes of which have not been seen in 70 years ....and coincidentally he appoints Americas foremost authority on The Great Depression as chairman of the federal reserve.

perhaps someone might post some comment on fannie mae and indy mac .....They are milestone interventions yet they pass unnoticed.

tell me...., do you believe that the gov should intervene directly in the credit markets ,perhaps even proactively or should a more "hands off" attitude be taken.

Perhaps the financial sector as a whole should face a higher tax burden ...as oppose to just letting the public flip the bill?

I am interested in your views ....i would be interested to hear the views of others.

This is, perhaps ,the most important issue in domestic politics and therefore the election...barring an act of terror.Speak Up!

respectfully yours ,

charles
