Even CDMA, with all its wonders, had a difficult time with GSM. Being late to the party in an environment in which it had to compete with both QCDMA and GSM despite riggimg of markets in its favor, TD-SCDMA would have had a terribly difficult time of it.

I suppose Chinese officialdom has given it the politically required time and effort before giving it the boot.

Shows an interesting lack of xenophobia, very much unlike the Japanese and their PHS.

Q's shares should be surging, but they are not.

The prospects of new markets and the very real possibility of an end of litigation with NOK within a year should under normal circumstances bode very well for Q. Its timing is poor, however, as I think we are facing a market crash which will drown out all good news. Read this:
