Is Medicare an 'entitlement' ? No, medicare is paid for by the social security recipient out of the funds they paid for and worked for over the years. Quite right MJ..... Let's see, did I misspeak or is it just that my position needs to be clarified....<g> Get the government out of the health care business and put it where it belongs in the private sector. Exactly, and change the interstate insurance laws while your at it. I am not optimistic that this will ever happen as beauracracies expand to fill any space available and continue their existence even when proved unworkable. That's the point I was getting around too, albeit slowly. Who is going to kill these bureaucratic behemoths?
