The job of a President to to do the NATION'S business... domestic political games playing should always be a lesser and subordinated concern. (Besides... anyone foolish to back themselves into a corner by trying to say the nation should not even attempt to use the tools of diplomacy is just begging for a reversal of their fortunes. Diplomacy of course comes with absolutely no guarantees of success in life... but then, what does?)
