boy you are stupid liarboy. there are different film compositions, They restrict the percentage of light getting into the car by both partial reflection and some adsorption. you donot believe that if some of the sunlight is reflected back then the heating inside will be slower. Clearly that is stupidity of the first and second order. Also as I stated in prior post the absorbed component of the light heats the film and being glued to the glass it is heated and the hot glass in a vertical orientation with the cooler outside air sets up convection that cools the glass. Why do the Arabs wear black robes in the dessert?

The inside of a car heats until it is so hot that head conducted from insider surfaces to outside surfaces that remove the heat with cooler air at a rate equal to the suns energy getting into the car. The radiated heat is once again a small component in the total outflow of heat energy.

In fact they sell some several dollar crack the window fans that will keep a car many degrees cooler with very little air flow.

It all obvious to those with a brain capable of understanding how a greenhouse is heated or cooled.
