I posted Davis's comment on the study, but he didn't address the saturated fat issue.

I think Medicine went with the "smell" theory back in the '60s as the cause of heart disease. That was the belief back in the 19th century that smells were the cause of disease because they were so obvious.

"You have fatty plaque in your arteries? Cut back on fat!"

Sounds obvious. Maybe too obvious.
