Do you have source of geo map online?

I wonder where those hinges are in relation to the GSX holes and what the angle of the folding is? In that basin it would have to be fairly broad. We aren't talking isoclinal.

Here is a SK geo atlas viewer with layers. Has the ESRI file download feature too.

infomaps.gov.sk.ca

I see if you go over to mid province by the Manitoba border and blow it up just below where the cretaceous hits the northern pre-cambrian, by the NE pointing (green coloured) "thumb" of the Pasquia hills that there is a elongated ovoid donut mag high just starting at the south branch of the creek where GSX is drilling. So they were drilling right on the south edge of this mag high. To the south is more low and to the west. Leaf lake is a medium mag low to 15 KM to the SW at about 200 degrees az. The Pasquia hill uplift to the NW in the Vermillion formation is mixed lows and highs.

Does this mag high/low have anything to do with their coal? They are probably basement features so highs could represent thinning of post cambrian. If that is the case, then the 'basin' is to the NE. ON the other hand it could represent a mafic body and an ancient upsurge or hill that was covered by seds. Hard to say. They seem to have drilled right in the Mag high on the south edge. Since the two miss holes were possibly outside the edge in the low that might be instructive.
