He explained why he would still oppose a troop increase in Iraq, saying it does not meet the long-term U.S. strategic goal and that the emphasis on Iraq had taken a toll on the U.S. effort in Afghanistan.


This is just about the most idiotic position I've ever heard a candidate take.

Is there no way in hell this fool can admit he made a freaking mistake?

He admits the surge worked, but he still wouldn't have done it. Makes sense when you realize he's the candidate of people who don't want us to win.
