So save your RNC talking points for people who are much less informed.

If only I could find someone less informed than you. Tall order.

Hitler gained power by appealing to the Germans' sense of nationalism.

Nazis rose to power on the basis of an anticaptialist agenda - which he firmly believed. He was a revolutionary, he saw himself as a revolutionary, and revolution is indisputably the territory of the Left.

Look, you need to come up to speed on this subject then we'll talk about it. But it won't do for you to merely hurl the "Right-wing Fascists" claim. It is nonsense. Anyone who has studied Fascism, even a little, can ascertain for himself the truth, that Fascism is far more Leftist than it is anything else.

"To this day, nationalism is strongly discouraged in Germany in the fear that it will lead to another rise in fascism."

No kidding. They are way past the point of being reasonable on the subject.

Hitler gained power by appealing to the Germans' sense of nationalism.

Hitler primarily gained power by appealing to the Germans' sense of fair treatment.

The peace treaty forced upon them after WW I was quite the opposite and besides being extremely unfair really was utterly stupid and set the stakes for WW II.
