Anyway, it all depends on what your definition of "real programming" is. I can imagine some four-year-old "programming" in LOGO with the help of his or her parents.

I remember writing Tetris for my Atari 800XL back in junior high. That's what I consider "real programming," not the following:

Nope, the only help my parents gave me was buying me the computer, the games, and a couple of programming books.

Granted, as I said, there isn't a hell of a lot to BASIC...
