I do believe the US is in peril with regards to energy and the pandering to the mostly unsophisticated electorate dooms them. What are the prospects of this current inaction? I propose that they fail or they go military to solve or both. I expect both is the probable outcome.
Their failure to take the bitter pill and address the problem with a practical and realistic plan is mindboggling.
All IMO.
