Re: To claim that Intel cannot produce a tri-core product implies that Intel really wants to, just like AMD supposedly wants to. The fact remains that they cannot. Given the way they blanket the earth with variations on their CPUS, why would they leave this hole in their line-up, other than the obvious reason - because they don't have the technology? This isn't something that can be "proven" (maybe they really like having this hole in their line-up). We'll each have to come to our own conclusions as to how Intel "feels" and leave it at that.
