I did not make the claim that gays would molest youngsters more prevalently than straights, if that is your impression. I think gays are capable of raising children well, just as much as straight people. And I don't think gays are any more disposed to pedophilia than straights. If hard facts were presented, I could accept proof that the reverse is true. Pedophilia is bad, and should be extinguished to the extent possible. No doubt more damage has been done to marriage and children by straights than gays, simply because there are so much more of them. If the doors of legitimacy are opened to gays, as they appear to be showing a crack, I certainly hope that the gays will abandon advocacy groups and attempts to encourage others to join them just to gain political power as they are now. People should make individual choices, and I believe by biological imperative the natural choice is heterosexual. Tolerance of the other choice does not mean that I think it should be actively promoted as just one choice of several.
