I believe by biological imperative the natural choice is heterosexual

ManyMoose,

If by biological imperative you mean procreation, I believe it ceased being an imperative a long time ago for homo sapiens.

As for natural, anything that occurs naturally fits the definition. We may not understand or be able to explain it or get comfortable with it, but it IS natural all the same.

>>If the doors of legitimacy are opened to gays, as they appear to be showing a crack, I certainly hope that the gays will abandon advocacy groups and attempts to encourage others to join them just to gain political power as they are now.

People should make individual choices, and I believe by biological imperative the natural choice is heterosexual. Tolerance of the other choice does not mean that I think it should be actively promoted as just one choice of several.<<

It's not a choice in the first place. People who are homosexual are that way because they are not sexually attracted to the opposite sex, and they are attracted to the same sex. Attraction is not a conscious choice.

Lots of homosexuals try to suppress their feelings, and to conform to society's expectations. They go so far as to marry members of the opposite sex. But they are tortured and unhappy when they do so. Many of them end up like Larry Craig or Ted Haggard. That's not a good thing.
