If by biological imperative you mean procreation, I believe it ceased being an imperative a long time ago for homo sapiens.

If procreation ceases to be a biological imperative for homo sapiens, then Algore will get his wish. Presto! No more anthropogenic GW!

Presumably, behaviors that are self-defeating (in the biological sense, which homosexuality clearly is since it cannot result in procreation) will self-destruct by virtue of not passing genes to progeny. Whether or not procreation is the object of sexual behavior, or whether that is the basis of the imperative, the only way the group can expand is by recruitment.

I take exception to gay groups actively recruiting new members for whatever reason. Some people are impressionable and will follow any lead presented to them. Homosexual behavior has considerable negatives, whether it is natural or not. I do not think it should be promoted, just accepted.
