>>“I despise his ideology,” Sharpton told me, “but Rush is a lot smarter and craftier than Don Imus. Limbaugh puts things in a way that he can’t be blamed for easy bigotry. Some of the songs he does about me just make me laugh. But he’s the most dangerous guy we have to deal with on the right, including O’Reilly and Imus. They come at you with an ax. He uses a razor.”

>>I took a rare opportunity to listen to Rush Limbaugh today while waiting for my wife at the urgent care.

You made a comment some time ago that Rush thrives on fomenting outrage, but I heard no such activity during the 20 minutes that I listened. <<

I see, so your twenty minutes of listening to him convinced you my view of him is incorrect. Fine.

One question. Was his playing of the Howard Dean quote, a single line extracted from several speeches, not an example of trying to foment outrage against Dean?

PS: I hope your wife is OK.
