Taiwan must be dealt the coup of grace, and be Hong Kongized Taiwan has a different social ethnic culture than hk, and the island has been self-governed for so long that I actually believe it cannot be easily ruled by the same leader or under the same leadership. Both sides must remain as trading partners and treat each other as "equal" without too much competitive threat. By comparison, Argentina and Brazil treat each other as "equal" and must maintain the same political view to avoid conflict. But I have no idea how the remnant mafia business operate behind the scene & actually benefit all citizens on both sides, especially the Argentineans. You should know better than I am ...
