Ever notice how many gayphobes turned out to be gay themselves? No. I presume you're talking about people who simply object to the gay lifestyle. I don't call them gayphobes. I suppose there are some fringe elements out there who say one thing and do another. Hate in general is a bad thing, and will kill you spiritually and literally if you let it consume you. I think hate is justified in some cases. For example, I hate Osama bin Laden and Adolf Hitler, Timothy McVeigh, and the beltway sniper, but I don't lose any sleep over it. I believe they should be removed in the most effective way possible.
