I admire T. Boone. He is taking an active, senior statesman role. He is doing the country some good.

But....

You can be sure that that huge wind farm in north Texas would not be built w/o huge subsidies or tax credits. You and I will be increasing his bank account, no doubt about it. I am very skeptical of wind. I bet if you got T. Boone alone he would say the same.

He is right about the pending energy crisis. The good he is doing is using his high profile to make the case. I think that post $4 gasoline, Congress maight be starting to get it.

Of course in 1979, we basically had the same real gasoline price, and Jimmy Carter didn't get much attention.
