I am sick of liberals berating the country for its response to 911. Which is what the comic posted by CJ did. The country was attacked and clowns like CJ mock those who want to go after our enemies. If you guys believe in defending the country, why do you-all post crap like CJ did?

"After 9-11, stupidity became patriotic.

Bad thing happen. Us go kill people now.

...."

9/11 happened in a blue state, not a red one. It happened in the bluest of cities, not a red city. Its very likely a lot of liberals died that day.

I think it happened in America and a lot of Americans died that day. NYC is my country too. And BTW America was attacked at the Pentagon too. Also part of my country. Yours?

9/11 probably meant a whole lot more to me than it did you just because of my prior relationship with NYC.

Then you have a pretty strange reaction - defending a cartoon that in its very first panel mocks Americans for wanting to defend an attack on their country.

I can not tell you how angry your comment has made me. I am sick to death of you guys repeating what you hear your pundits and leaders spew from their mouths like so much sewage from a waste pipe: "Liberals ain't patriotic enough." "Liberals already have forgotten about 9/11." "Liberals think we deserved 9/11." "Liberals don't know how to defend the country." "Liberals don't fly the flag enough."

Well you know what.......9/11 happened in a blue state, not a red one. It happened in the bluest of cities, not a red city. Its very likely a lot of liberals died that day. I had just woken up and turned on the tv when the first plane hit. I will never forget it as long as I live. I was sure I was still asleep and having a nightmare. I had friends living in the City when it happened. I worried if they were okay. 9/11 probably meant a whole lot more to me than it did you just because of my prior relationship with NYC.

It isn't so much about patriotism as it is about ignorance. Now, I think you're definitely anti-American, don't get me wrong. You constantly criticize America at every turn and have nothing good to say about it.

But you don't know how to defend the country. You just don't understand the geopolitical situation and how power must be used. There is nothing new here. After Carter's abject failure in foreign policy, Reagan came in and used our power to defeat the Soviet Union in the spirit of TR.

You don't understand how removing Saddam and creating a democracy in Iraq will change the Middle East. And to be fair, most Americans probably don't. The uneducated have bought the liberal anti-American power play -- flip-flop on Iraq, start bashing Bush and lying about it, and eventually people will believe you. It is 100% anti-American.

The Left -- other than the extremists like Obama -- were right there and onboard when the war started. But when it became more difficult than expected, the Left ran from it like the WTC was crashing all over again.

New Yorkers have no more claim to 9/11 than the rest of us. NYC wasn't attacked, America was.

It is a shame that Bush has failed to articulate the rationale for going after Iraq. But it doesn't change the facts. It needed to happen for many reasons.
