Goolsby just on CNBC. He had no answers for Kiernan on the stupidity of the windfall profits tax to pay for another rebate. I say get the money from Steve Jobs who is ripping off the american consumer with overpriced phones and ipods. Or get it from Buffetts companies because he is soooo pure. Or how about Soros who is so democratic.

These guys will argue about anything.

No, but when an inaccurate claim is made by the Left, I'm going to point it out.

Which is probably unnecessary because most reasonable people know it is utter nonsense. That you cannot replace new development with airing up your tires. The entire concept is laughable.

"David Ray is in his response to you, as was Rush yesterday."

Oh. Should have guessed that Rush was pushing the idea. Did he mention the 2005 Edmund's study?

JF, > David Ray is in his response to you, as was Rush yesterday. These guys will argue about anything.

Three to four percent, John. That's the excuse Obama is using to avoid the topic of oil drilling, which has become more popular among voters.

It's the same excuse I keep hearing from the anti-drilling zealots on this thread. We won't find anything, and what we do find won't come until ten years later.

That's why the GOP is ridiculing Obama's "tire pressure" argument. The GOP isn't trying to dispute the benefits of properly inflated tires. Rather, Obama is trying to greatly minimize the impact of oil drilling. Then he calls the other side "ignorant" and gets cheers and pats on the back from his fellow liberals for "sticking it to the right-wingers."

Samo samo. So much for "change" ...
