Having a lot of fun here in Brazil. The value of the Real is not sustainable,A cooked chicken is $8.00 vs $5.50 at Costco,4 milk shakes $22.A very small apt in Guarapari that for years was 20K is now 100K (about 70 m2 two blocks from the beach)I do not think Brazil can compete even on chicken sales.Air fare 50% more than US.Add in the cost of crime, red tape, labour rules the Brazilian Real is in a bubble. The best investment a Brazilian can make is to buy a house in South Florida.Real must be 2/$ for minimal competivness,2.20 for mild,2.40 moderate,2.60 good.It will happen but may take a couple years
