When a message is short, the sender usually either wants to provide information, or wants to inform you that you should do something different. In this case, I think it is the latter.

ONE: You are generalizing a lot, as if Europeans and Americans would disagree on topics... in real life, there is greater difference between two europeans than between a european and an american.

TWO: Mountains divide. That's why Europe domesticated the bees, but the east side of the Ural mountains didn't, and that's why Europe's boundary is the Ural mountains.

THREE: You use a lot of definitions your way. That's bad in a discussion. In a discussion, you should always assume that you are incorrect in something, including your definitions. If not, there's no reason to be in the forum.

FOUR: Your abilities to see the future seem undocumented.

From Alaska to Tierra de Fuego.

Maybe this confusion about "The West" can be easily untangled.

In Europe, the term "The West" goes back a while. When we refer to "The West" it means these countries

en.wikipedia.org

It's maybe not a good way to define regions of the world as some country will always be due West of another country. China is due West of California, but it's still referred to as "The East" or in the colonial era "The far East".

Sorry if it appears that we Europeans are trying to dump our political problems on the Americas, but "The West" is a term unlikely to change in the near future.

I never really heard of "EurAsia" but doing a little googling I see it's the combination of Europe and Asia.

It's very nice to be separated by the sea from a problem. It's why the UK managed to stay a bit different from the French for a long time. Oceans don't separate much these days though.

A few supertankers can transport either natural gas, crude oil, or refined products anywhere. Europe has considerable facilities for refining petroleum products. The interruption of the oil flow in Georgia will only effect the world market and some very local economies.

Georgia only matters as it can move some oil and gas, and (more importantly to the Russian Generals) they have all their vacation dachas in regions like Abkhasia. Like I said earlier, Georgia invading Abkhasia was a bit like Fidel Castro invading the Hamptons.

Some 2002 pictures.

"The West" means the culture of Europe and its colonies.
