Don't worry - President Obama will have a no preconditions personal summit with Putin in his first year in office that will make all the problems go away. Putin can be fit in right after Fidel and Hugo. Its so simple. Ukraine is safe with Obama on the job. Okay, enough w/ sarcasm. On this comment: Putin may have been less ready to act if he didn't think America's military was tied up. I find it amazing someone unwilling to fight Saddam is seemingly willing to threaten to fight Russia. Equally amazing is the idea that while Iraq was held to be of no importance to the US, the Ukraine or Georgia is vital enough to the US we'd threaten war with Russia over. And how seriously would Russia take a threat of military force from a country unwilling to take on Saddam?
