and John Mc Cain's paid advisors also paid by Georgia did not contribute to this mess there? Oh, I forgot Russia is using our unilateral Invasion of Iraq as a goodexcuse for their heavy handed and unnecessary invasion and will benefit from Mc Cain's peevish growls as well.===by the way it seems like Mc cains advisors might have wispered the wrong thing into Georgia;s ears, that we would come to their aid if they overshot and got into trouble..?

You're spending too much time at the DailyKos and Huffington Post.

There is not one iota of similarity between our invasion of Iraq, which totally necessary, and Russia's use of force against George. Not one iota.

McCain's advisers had nothing, AFAIK, with Russia's aggression. If you know different, post the details with support, otherwise, just STFU.

last time russia followed a US adventure was theirs into afganistan after ours in vietnam. They (the ruskys) are about as dumb as we typically are. Their fear of US on the border is irrational but based on their history of being invaded. US knowing this needed to tread slower since the Fall of communism. Yeltsin's presidency was a disaster because it created the mindset here that the old russia, apart from the USSR was dead. Well it aint and 4mm georgians are now paying the price for both underestimating the bear and overestimating US power in that region.
