I can't think of any major modern infrastructure build in the US that didn't involve government at all. Government pokes its nose in to everything. You somehow seem to think that the fact that it does do this, is an argument for having it do it, but that's a rather bizarre argument. OK, so let's see if you can follow this logic. If you can't think of any major infrastructure build that didn't involve government... just maybe there CAN'T BE a major infrastructure build WITHOUT government involvement???? Otherwise in 230+ years it probably would have happened, eh? So you can credit the government with the success of this country.
