I like to think we could ween ourselves off foreign oil with less pain but with who we have leading Congress I doubt it. Only a Masochist or someone short everything would want immediate $10 gas.

Pickens has a pretty good idea with the Natural gas, wind, solar, nuke but it would take some drilling as a bridge.

I already have, time for a new direction. Definitely. Would be cool to send the ME back to the third world by not using their oil.
