I didn't say that, but clearly Rice is the foremost expert on the subject. The second-best expert, John Bolten, BTW, doesn't agree with Rice's handling of the matter. But Bolten's knowledge, while substantial, it doesn't approach Rice's.

Short of Armand Hammer, long deceased, I don't know of anyone who is more well-versed about the region.

Well, Condi and W seemed to have negotiated the surrender documents in record speed. Maybe Puti-Poot dictated the terms at the Olympics and told George he could talk tough and it was ok?
