<<The USA has nothing it manufactures that the world needs or wants.>>

Dude I am not going to respond to idiotic, broad sweeping statements with no basis.

If the USA had nothing the world wants, exports would be $0 so clearly that's not true. But that's extreme, so we'll take it another step.

If the USA had nothing the world wants, then exports would not be growing at high double digits p.a. and in fact faster than China (FACT). But let's take it another step further.

If the USA had nothing the world wants, then the non-oil current account deficit wouldn't be contracting at its fastest pace since the early 90's.

If you don't mind now, I'll put you on ignore like the rest of the world.

I share your sentiments although I'm not so convinced in the dollars direction at this point in time. I suppose the direction may continue higher at a much slower rate and turn down again after the elections. Whatever the media and market guru pundits are predicting I would prefer to take the other side of the trade. I have little to zero confidence in these circus show clowns. The whole Fed and Wall St Institutions(Goldman Sachs on top)are a circus unto themselves. It is the greatest show on earth.
