bart,

Nice.

Lots of threads have posted this, as well as the news about the US Mint not offering 1oz Eagles at the present time.

<IMPORTANT NEW NOTICE: Demand for bullion products has increased significantly in recent days. As a result, we may experience delays in supply and possibly delays in processing and shipping by our vaults. We apologize for this inconvenience and will do everything in our power to service your orders as quickly as possible. While cancellation fees still apply, prices are guaranteed regardless of the length of the delay. We remain committed to providing you the best service no matter what market conditions prevail.

Someone (and I apologize, but I forgot who) speculated that maybe the premium was high as dealers wanted to move inventory that they paid more for. So, there was an implication that maybe this was a ploy.

I've been buying from Tulving for years, and tonight Tulving is PAYING $30 over spot for BU 1oz Eagles. This is the highest I've ever seen Tulving on the buy side. It screams to me that there is at least a short-term shortage on the physical side.

Prior to this $3 increase today, Tulving had been paying $27 for the past week. The buy premium was as low as $15 just a few weeks ago. I do not ever recall the $27 premium being offered for more than a few days.
