OK, I got the results from my latest blood test on the 14th. My doctor and I have been arguing for 2 years now because he says that I AM type 2 diabetic. I keep saying dood, once you warned me I watch stuff and I'm nowhere near. He keeps saying because I'm type 2 I need a med for cholesterol and I'm saying I'll live with my counts and f the meds. At any rate he wants me back in 4 months for a retest. Total- 195 HDL- 55 LDL-117 He has a real problem with that one Triglycerides- 116 My fasting blood sugar was 97 and my A1C or 3 month average was 5.9 which is for all intents normal. I will continue with niacin and fish oil. No Lipitor in this guys future. Edit: I take no meds for diabetes at all.
