What if it is premature like the last time Bush sorta declared victory? Remember "Mission Accomplished"? N

Personally, I think "Mission Accomplished" really hurt Bush. Declaring victory again, even with all of the success of the surge, would sound rather desperate. Or at least the mainstream media will spin it that way.

But hey, I still don't think McCain has a snowball's chance, even with the polls showing a close race, so maybe it's worth a shot?
