You make some very good points on what you would like to see in Obama's speech. I wonder why Hillary came out on the heels of a McCain ad portraying a rift between her and Obama, to release all her delegates If she did it for party unity and to get back at the right wing extremists, then she needs a ataboy.

The Clintons are not stupid. They know well that the Presidency would have been a treacherous uphill climb for them. But with a President Obama, she can get whatever she wants; Senate leadership, SC judgeship or maybe a full backing for Gov. of NY.

I am becoming more and more worried. Polls are tied and between racisism and the fact both obama and biden have liberal voting records; and with Rove rested and ready to apply a scorched earth negative campaign I just do not know if people will get it.

I still have a very vived memory of Nixon crushing Mcgovern 49 states to 1. I have little faith in the American electorite. And I have seen no new information for me to change that belief.

Everyone is saying the negative campaigning is working and polls sure seem to back that up??

I have read the anti Obama threads a bit to try and understand their thinking and it has been a very depressing experience.
