Brumar: Obama's computer skills is what he'll use to handle Putin? McCain was right on the surge (Obama was wrong), McCain was right on the Marines in Lebanon, McCain's response on Russia's invasion of Georgia was firm and to the point (Obama waffled). koan: you are missing the point. Being able to use a computer shows ones intellectual abilites and their curiosity. McCain appears to me to be a dullard. While bush was focusing on Iraq he let bin laden run loose and build up al qaeda and he completely took his eye off of Russia. We should have done like the Israels' did after the Munich attack and put a special team together and gone out and killed bin laden! Bush got fooled by Putin. Our invading Iraq was just like Pickets charge and Custers debacle. It was stupid MILITARILY. Iraq was a brush fire and we should have let Europe handle them. They had much more to fear and would have eventually. We destroyed our army, let bin laden go loose and we will have spent 3 trillion dollars on nothing Iraq has 80 billion in the bank while we continue to spend 10 billin a month). 1/3 of our entire debt right now. bush also was unfair to our brave kids in the military making them do as many as 5 rotations without rear lines to retreat and rest too. McCain and bush also voted against tons of veterns benefits including giving them a pay raise! The disabled veterans association gives obama an 80% voting rating and McCain a 20% voting rating!! Bush said he was agaisnt the pay raise for the army as "it was unnecessary"! We took away the counter to Iran (who is a danger) and Iran is thanking us every day for our taking out sadam. The shia in Iraq thank us every day for taking out their enemy, the Sunnie, and now that the Shia have the Sunnie beat down they want us to leave so they can finish the job of pay back to the Sunnie for the 30 years they sufferd under sadam; and then they will go after the kurds in the north to get their oil. And the clerics will run iraq. There will be no democracy and Iraq and iran will join hands against the US. Russia in the meantime will put missles in iran and syria, And because bush used up our army and money on that stupid war and botched everything we can do nothing short of nuclear war to counter russia. Remember this bushism: "I looked into his (Putin) soul and saw a person I can trust and do businees with". That is because Bush is as dumb as a post and he has greatly endangered this country with his nonsense. Invading iraq was very very stupid from a military point of view. Sun Tzu, I expect, would have focused on Russia, China, Pakistan, Iran and Afghanistan. In that order. Iraq probably would not have even been on his radar!
