Since liberals think universal health care is "free from cost," why should McCain throw Goodman under the bus for saying likewise?

One of the reasons why I think universal health care is inevitable is because I follow Goodman's logic. We're already halfway there, especially when the emergency room is the "primary care facility" of the uninsured. It's nothing close to ideal, but at least it's better than what is being portrayed by the universal health care advocates, which are images of poor patients being denied health care.
