She seems like a red-blooded American And by inference, Barack Obama's and Joe Biden's blood ain't red?..Or that they're not adequately American? Biden ran for president and got zero delegates (out of 4000 or whatever), but her approval rating with her constituents is over 80%. How do you know this? Did you know Palin/about Palin before today? That Biden was overshadowed by the Clinton machine and the brightest and most inspirational candidate in 40 years had nothing to do with his performance? I had to get away from politics this afternoon and I'm finding it so cynical how many Palin supporters there are here today, how people like you and Glen Peterson and Jrhana run over here to pump her up when you barely know her...after Obama gave one of the best presidential candidate speeches in American history, has run one of the most effective campaigns in American history, whose biography was reviewed just last night and has been interrogated since tbe 04 convention............................... I once told someone via PM to leave the "political operative" bullshit to those who get paid for it..we're(on SI) just ordinary citizens who should be trying to figure out who the best person is for the job............................and I'll say that to you(and the aforementioned), today after seeing the pollution on this board........ Disclosure: I have no opinion on Palin as a person or politician because I've not learned enough...

Let us be serious about discussing issues on this thread. Biden ran for president and got zero delegates (out of 4000 or whatever), but her approval rating with her constituents is over 80%. We have wait for the national press to vet her and then see what her popularity rating is. It is being reported that she is under investigation for corruption by the Alaska legislature. This investigation did not start today and hence cannot be dubbed as something political because of her VP pick.
