It is very hard to educate neocons. They do not listen to rational concepts.
They do occupy too much attention from Democrats.

PS Glenn..I'm sorry I bungled the spelling of your name..really..hate when people do it to mine(my real one)...........

And Glenn, just because you and I disagree quite potently right now, it's just that...disagreeing...I respect you too much to ever lower to the kind of personal attacks we witness on these threads...and to the kind of responses I give Vinter, our resident Obama contrarian, can't get over Hillary's loss citizen<g>

I guess we're headed into the decisive period of this election when emotions run high; I came to support Obama after a terrible period of disillusionment and cynicism re: the Dems, with politics, and even initially his 04 speech and the subsequent attention...during the course of this campaign, esp in the beginning when there were so many candidates from each party competing, I at bottom, was open to whoever from either party(cept Hillary and Bill)..you'll remember that McCain was an easy 2nd choice for me in the beginning because of his maverick reputation...yet, Obama has really shown his mettle as a pragmatic, principled leader and person imo..while McCain has lowered himself to politics he deplored 8 years ago, the kind of Rove lies that ruined his campaign in 2000....

For sure, this kind of conviction for a candidate scares the hell out of me because I don't know what he/she will be once elected but that speech last night was a tour de force re: the kind of POTUS we desperately need and imo, Obama has earned our taking a chance with him....
