It is far from pandering to try to tilt the tables to help abused women. The whole article you quoted dwelt on one point, that the help MAY be misused. Well that is true of anything. Anything CAN be misused. I guess in your perfect world we are to do nothing because our help MAY be misused. It sure is a very weak criticism of Biden. Show me a law that could never be misused.

You're certainly giving me more reasons to dislike Biden. It looks like he's a typical Democrat pandering to NOW that chicks are vics and big bad deadbeat dads are battering them. So big government will take the place of bad daddy and support mommy and her attorney. The Joe Biden who lost his wife and toddler-aged daughter in a car accident right after getting elected to the Senate, at age 29? Th Joe Biden who had to be forced by then Senate colleagues to accept his election? Who was sworn in at the hospital bedside of his then toddler sons recovering from said accident? The Joe Biden who commuted 4 hours a day on Amtrak so he could be home to feed the boys dinner, help with homework, tuck them into bed at night? Who was there in the morning to feed them breakfast? Unless you want to disclose the real reasons for your contempt for legislation(and the person who drafted it) helping families(that includes men in those families) suffering from physical, emotional and sexual abuse by "clinging" to "some people abuse this law", continuation of this conversation is pointless..More fruitful would be your spending some time in your local emergency room, local Pediatric ICU, local adult ICU and local shelters, where the victims that this legislation was aimed, can be found..................... Edit: there you will find many boys who will one day be men.................................
