Al, I think you are pointing out that mccain has put politics ahead of country... Surely, picking a VP is to large extend a political decision. Most of the VPs were picked in order to help the top of the ticket win. As far as politics ahead of the country, it is a fair point you are making. But if you trully believe it, you can't be voting for Obama, because that putting politics ahead of country x 10 (compared to political VP pick). Joe PS: to expand on the Palin choice, McCain is a Republican, and one of the things he needs to do (now that he is the leader of the Republican party) is to rebuild the party. Choice of Palin is the beginning of a solid foundation - in my opinion.
