Surely, picking a VP is to large extend a political decision. Most of the VPs were picked in order to help the top of the ticket win. To a degree...I just think it's amusing and hypocritical to spend months building a case on experience and then choose a neophyte as the potential replacement for a 72 year old. Picking Palin is shameless pandering...interestingly her first appeal to clinton and ferraro followers is naive, considering her hyper conservative views. Al
